چکیده
Control of magnetic states by external factors has garnered a mainstream status in spintronic research for designing low power consumption and fast-response information storage processing devices. Previously, magnetic-cation substitution is the conventional means to induce ferromagnetism an intrinsic antiferromagnet. Theoretically, anion-doping proposed be another effect change ground states. Here we demonstrate synthesis high-quality single-phase chromium oxynitride thin films using in-situ nitrogen doping. Unlike antiferromagnetic monoanionic oxide nitride phases, exhibits robust ferromagnetic insulating state, as demonstrated combination multiple magnetization probes theoretical calculations. With increasing content, crystal structure transits from trigonal (R3c) tetragonal (4mm) phase its saturation reduces significantly. Furthermore, achieve large controllable exchange bias field chromia heterostructures synthetic anion engineering. Exchange coupling in magnetic heterostructures.
Many structures consisting of magnetic layers separated by a nonmagnetic spacer layer show an oscillatory exchange coupling. This behavior is explained in terms of a simple model that shows that the Fermi surface of the spacer layer material is responsible for the oscillatory coupling. The periods of the oscillatory coupling are set by extremal spanning vectors of the Fermi surface of the space...
متن کاملExchange Bias in Fe0.6Zn0.4F2 Heterostructures
The exchange bias field, He; is measured in Fe0.6Zn0.4F2/Fe heterosystems prepared from Fe layers of 14 and 5 nm thickness which are deposited on top of the compensated (1 1 0) surface of the antiferromagnet. Deviations from a linear dependence of He on the magnetization of the Fe layer are attributed to ferromagnetic domains. Moreover, piezomagnetism and its influence on He are evidenced. r 20...

Exchange bias effect of ferro-/antiferromagnetic heterostructures
The exchange bias (EB) effect was discovered 60 years ago by Meiklejohn and Bean. Meanwhile the EB effect has become an integral part of modern magnetism with implications for basic research and for numerous device applications. The EB effect was the first of its kind which relates to an interface effect between two different classes of materials, here between a ferromagnet and an antiferromagn...
متن کاملInterlayer exchange coupling in perpendicularly magnetized synthetic ferrimagnet structure using CoCrPt and CoFeB
Interlayer exchange coupling in synthetic ferrimagnet structures consisting of perpendicularly magnetized CoCrPt and in-plane magnetized CoFeB layers, which are coupled by a Ru thin spacer, were investigated. The magnetization of the CoFeB layer turned perpendicular to the film plane after annealing at 300°C because of the appearance of interlayer coupling from the CoCrPt layer. The coupling va...
